Christina Crawford, LAc, Dipl.OM
Theresa "Christina" completed her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture of the Northeast College of Health Sciences. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist.
Christina is certified in Acupuncture Sports Medicine following an intensive 6 month hands on apprenticeship program with Whitfield Reaves. This honed her treatment skills in various pain syndromes, diagnosis, assessment and treatment of sports related injuries. Her continuing education includes aiding in stroke recovery, treating therapy resistant chronic pain, dietary therapy and many other enrichment courses.
Her clinical internship at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center provided her with extensive experience working with our Veterans. She also studied at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital in Hangzhou, China where acupuncture is fully integrated into the modern hospital structure. Christina earned induction into the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society for academic excellence and achieved the Golden Needle Award for her skilled technique.
Christina has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon and a background in mental health and medical office management. She has been a patient of acupuncture since she was a child and has experienced the benefits of this medicine first hand. She believes your body is capable of recovering from illness and pain and will work closely with you to ensure that you are receiving the best care for your wellness goals!
